The Program Director is responsible for the daily management and operation of the childcare program, ensuring the center runs smoothly while delivering high-quality care and education to children. The Director is accountable for compliance with all state and local laws, rules, and regulations, particularly those outlined by the Department of Early Education & Care (EEC). This role also involves supervising staff, ensuring the effective implementation of curriculum and care protocols, and fostering strong communication with children, families, staff, and regulatory bodies.

The Assistant Director supports the Childcare Center Program Director in managing the daily operations and overall success of the center. This role includes assisting with staff supervision, ensuring compliance with licensing regulations, and maintaining a positive, nurturing environment for children, families, and staff. The Assistant Director acts as a leader in the absence of the Director and plays a key role in the implementation of educational programs, staff development, and family engagement.

The Program Administrator / Receptionist plays a critical role in the daily operations of the childcare center by providing administrative support and serving as the primary point of contact for families, staff, and visitors. This position is responsible for handling front desk duties, managing communications, maintaining records, and assisting with enrollment processes. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and have excellent customer service skills to create a welcoming and professional environment for families and staff.

The Enrollment Specialist is responsible for managing and coordinating the enrollment process for families interested in joining the childcare center. This role involves guiding families through the enrollment procedures, maintaining accurate enrollment records, and ensuring that all required documentation is collected and up-to-date. The Enrollment Specialist plays a key role in maintaining optimal enrollment levels, communicating with prospective and current families, and supporting the center’s growth. This position requires excellent communication, organizational skills, and a commitment to customer service.

The Curriculum Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the curriculum. This role requires someone with experience in early childhood education and a passion for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children. The Coordinator will work closely with teachers, parents, and other staff members to ensure that the curriculum is tailored to meet the needs and interests of the children, and that it is in compliance with regulatory requirements.

The Field Trip Coordinator is responsible for organizing, coordinating, and overseeing educational and recreational field trips for the children enrolled in our center. The role involves researching appropriate field trip destinations, managing logistics, ensuring safety, and facilitating enriching experiences that align with the center’s mission to foster cognitive, social, and emotional growth. The Field Trip Coordinator will work closely with staff, families, and community partners to create memorable and educational experiences.

The Lead Teacher plays a key role in providing instructional leadership within the childcare program. As an experienced educator, the Lead Teacher is responsible for mentoring and supervising both Teachers and Support Staff, guiding them toward educational excellence. In addition to classroom teaching responsibilities, the Lead Teacher helps to enrich staff competence, create a positive learning environment, and support the overall goals of the center. With advanced qualifications, the Lead Teacher may also take on program administration duties, including acting as a Director’s designee when necessary.

Teachers are central to the learning experience at the center, responsible for the education, care, and supervision of children in a nurturing and engaging environment. Teachers play a key role in promoting positive interactions, organizing and implementing activities, and maintaining a safe and healthy classroom. This position is counted in the child/staff ratio and requires meeting qualifications as either an Infant/Toddler Teacher or a Preschool Teacher, depending on education and experience.

Assistant Teachers provide essential support to Teachers, Lead Teachers, and the Program Director in delivering high-quality education and care to children. In this role, the Assistant Teacher helps implement daily activities, maintain a safe and engaging learning environment, and assist with various administrative tasks. While the primary focus is on general classroom support, in some cases, an Assistant Teacher may be assigned to work directly with an individual child. The Assistant Teacher plays an important part in fostering a positive, nurturing atmosphere for the entire group of children.
